Apricot Protein Bliss Balls

If you’re looking for a naughty but nice indulgent treat post or pre-workout (or maybe just to get you through the dreaded 3 o'clock slump. Look no further than these delightful vegan and gluten-free Apricot Protein Bliss Balls. Packed with dietary fibre and omega 3 fatty acids, these little balls of goodness are well and truly a snack with benefits.

 

Nutra Organics Apricot Protein Bliss Balls

 

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Turkish Sulpher Free Apricots, soaked
  • 1/4 cup LSA mix (ground linseed, sunflower kernels & almonds)
  • 1 1/2 Cups Raw Almonds, soaked
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 2 tbsp TChia Seeds
  • 1/2 cup Desiccated Coconut, plus extra for topping
  • 2 tbsp Nutra Organics Clean Protein Exotic Vanilla

    Method

    1. Place all ingredients into your food processor and process until combined, this should take about a minute.

    2. Place your extra desiccated coconut onto a plate. Using a  tablespoon measure out bliss balls and roll into shape then roll in the coconut to coat.

    3. Store in an airtight container in the fridge, they should last for up to 2 weeks (although good luck keeping them around this long)!
